Gosselink also organises extra-curricular activities that her students describe as both useful and fun.
Symbiosis
Roeland Stolk, chairman of the Leiden Student Council, announced the winner during the celebration of the Dies natalis in the Pieterskerk on Monday 8 February. He described the relationship between students and science as 'symbiotic' when the lecturer is particularly good. 'This what can and should happen during lectures. The lecturer should let the students really feel the subject matter. You det the idea that you are not only starting to understand the material, but also that you are able to make a contribution, and you realise that there is so much more still be discovered.'
